Hi, I'm Kristin.
I’m an editor, director, screenwriter, and photographer. I graduated from Columbia College Chicago back in 2008 with a Bachelor's degree in Film & Video Editing and worked at an international post-production studio from 2008 - 2018 in both Chicago and Los Angeles as an editor on international ad campaigns, television pilot promos, independent films, and more. I also received an AICE award for my work on a CVS Health ad campaign. I went freelance in 2018 to focus on writing and directing in addition to editing - I love to do it all.
Most of my writing and directing work is actually in production right now: I’m a writer/director on the upcoming science-fiction anthology VALARA, in production now. (Myself and my husband Raphael Rogers are both writers and directors on this project along with other talented writers and directors from around the world). I’m also in production on a documentary feature film that I am really excited about - we’ve been traveling all over the country interviewing some incredible people… but that’s all I can say for now. I can’t wait to share these projects when they’re further along.
Some of my editing work includes Seasons 1 and 2 of Discovery Channel’s ‘Undercover Billionaire’, the feature film VALARA (2021), commercials & branded content for Princess Cruises and Seabourn, the National Geographic short film 'Glacier Exit', the sci-fi short film “Scavenger”, the Google short film “Boundless” directed by Rosario Dawson and the feature-length crime thriller "Collusions" starring Tom Everett Scott. I have edited ad campaigns for CVS (we won an AICE award), Holland America Group, Google, McDonald’s, Jack In The Box, Budweiser, Microsoft, Jeep, and more. I also have a niche for editing kick-ass sizzle reels and selling new ad campaigns so if you’re in need of a sizzle or pitch video, let me know.
