In 1977 NASA launched two golden records into deep space on the Voyager I & II probes. Having left our solar system, they are the most distant man-made objects. The records carry sounds and images of our planet and human brainwaves.
In this Radiolab interview, Ann Druyan explains what those brainwaves contain: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e2cLdwwYE0c
The film begins when a planetary scavenger in an advanced spacesuit comes across the Voyager I drifting in interstellar space. Reading the brainwaves at the end of the record connects him to a planet he’s never known... Earth.
Scavenger is a proof of concept for a feature-length film.

We stood on the ice dunes of the glaciers of Alaska in the midst of a snowy winter. Trekking the slopes of another planet had been on our list for a long time. The silence and majesty of the mountains surrounding us, the bluest ice we had ever seen and the steady rush of ice turned to water. How did we get here? We met Rick by chance on a rainy road in Seward, Alaska. He had a worn work jacket, a great white beard and the friendliest demeanor two travelers could ask for. He turned out to be the skeleton key to the locked treasure that was our way into Exit Glacier. We had the entire ice field to ourselves. And a sole chance to tell its story. So we took it.

This is my proof of concept for the origin story of Michael, the great archangel once born to earth, who grew to lead an army against the almighty deceiver Lucifer and his rebel legions Behind the Scenes: https://youtu.be/wwKJlKMh3rw This film was done with the help of friends and family.
L'art Du Déplacement is the original term for Parkour, developed in France by David Belle.
Creating this was a lot of fun. At it's core was ingenuity, improvisation and a group of friends exploring a darkened city and a light filled forest. We hope you enjoy!

An online video campaign I edited for Budweiser. Directed by Omar Lagda.
"Collusions" is a cerebral, character driven crime mystery that follows five people, intertwined in the legal and law enforcement world of LA, as the story of a beaten woman, her missing tooth and their motives are revealed.
This was a fun little video me and my husband Raphael filmed while road-tripping through Oregon and Washington. Shot on the Canon 1dx Mark ii, a GH5 and a Phantom 4 Pro.

RECIPE:
Makes: 4 servings
What You’ll Need:
For the Garlic & Herb Flat-breads:
1 package of gluten-free pizza dough. I used Pamela’s Products and if you can’t find it, Bob’s Red Mill also makes a great dough.
2 minced garlic cloves
1 teaspoon dried basil
1 teaspoon dried rosemary
1 teaspoon dried oregano
1 Tbsp extra virgin olive oil (in addition to the recipe)
Organic cornmeal for dusting (optional)
You can find the Tomato Bruschetta recipe here.
You can find the Walnut Pesto recipe here.
To Make:
Prepare your dough in a large mixing bowl according to the package instructions (re: water and yeast - every brand is different). Mix the dough with a spatula and make sure there are no clumps.
Next - add 2 fresh minced garlic cloves, 1 Tbsp extra virgin olive oil and 1 teaspoon EACH of dried basil, rosemary and oregano. Continue to mix it all in until you have a beautiful herb dough.
Pending the instructions on your dough, cover with a kitchen towel and allow the dough to rise for as long as it states on your instructions - for Pamela’s, it’s an hour. (Note: I use plastic wrap in the video but have since stopped purchasing plastic).
While the dough is rising, head on over to the Tomato Bruschetta and Walnut Pesto recipe pages and prepare those while you wait.
Pre-heat your oven to 425 F. Dust a nonstick baking sheet with organic cornmeal and divide your dough into four balls. Using a little oil and the palm of your hand, carefully press the dough into four little flat-breads onto the baking sheet.
Bake for 15 - 20 minutes (check after 15 minutes as every oven is different). You’ll know they’re done when the sides and the bottom of the flat-breads are lightly golden in color.
